I just cleaned out my Mother Clucker and it was like re-living the highlights of the last month or so, Nationals vs Cubs with oldest son and friend, Baltimore Aquarium with daughter's 5th grade class which included lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe (whatever happened to bag lunches in the basement of the museum?), Speed Racer on MOTHER'S DAY, how lucky am I?????
Also, receipts from the Container Store which are a testament to my recent obsession with Elfa-ing (if that isn't an actual word, it should be) my closet. Oh that Elfa, it is a slippery slope.
Other notable findings: 2 cheese stick wrappers because that is just about all that youngest son will eat right now, a random blue Lego, one pair of sparkly, purple dolphin earrings given to me by my daughter to hold and of course, my ever present and rarely remembered bottle of hand sanitizer.
Best of all there was $3.75 in quarters in the bottom of my Mother Clucker which means that I am all set for any meter parking which comes my way, unless I become weak and use the change for Diet Cokes out of the machine at the pool. Tune in next time to see how strong I have been, or not.
